The Bolt Home is located in Grizzly Ranch Golf Course, just outside of Portola, California. The new home design is modeled after the chalets in the Polish ski village of Zakopane which have a Norwegian influence. It’s right on the beautiful golf course with views of the surrounding mountains. The home has many interesting elements, including hand-carved teak shutters and corner posts and even teak flooring. We’re using reclaimed 100 year old barn wood timbers and siding, along with reclaimed stone flooring . The patios will be built using old roads from Indonesia.
The Bolt Residence features hydronic heating in the floors for energy efficiency as well as multi-point German windows. This very unique home was designed by the world famous Pearson Design Group in Montana.
