Summer Update

We’re happy to report that it’s been a busy summer in beautiful Plumas County for Williams Construction.

The Cavin home was recently signed off by the county, and the Cavin’s have been slowly moving into their beautiful new mountain home located in Whitehawk Ranch. We’re almost done with the project, and will be done once we have installed a new patio with a custom fire pit. Stay tuned for the final construction photos which will be posted soon!

We are well underway with the Lund Cabin in Graeagle, a  hand-hewn timber home. We are currently framing the dormers and getting ready to do the porches this week. This is a really unique little cabin and the Hearthstone Home pre-cut kit has come together just as it’s supposed to. We’re having fun with this project and hope that it leads to further timber homes in the future. Check out the first photos of this project on our Current Projects page.

Williams Construction has also begun a new project for the Bolt’s at Grizzly Ranch Golf Course. This new home construction

is a design modeled after the chalets seen in the Polish ski village of Zakopane which have a Norwegian influence. The design for this unique custom home came from the world famous Pearson Design Group in Montana, and features German windows, reclaimed barn wood and even patio material from old roads in Indonesia. Make sure to read more under our Current Projects page and stay tuned for some photos!

We’re thankful for all of the work this summer! And even though it’s been a busy one, we’ve managed to get out and enjoy the warm weather, abundant wildflowers and warm lakes. Wishing you a wonderful August! ~ The Williams Crew
